A Turkish Cypriot delegation led by the Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports Kemal Durust met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank Dr. Muhammad Ali in Jeddah.
A Turkish Cypriot delegation led by the Minister of National Education, Youth and Sports Kemal Durust met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank Dr. Muhammad Ali in Jeddah on Wednesday. (full story)Durust and his delegation discussed with Dr. Ali the "Higher Education in Islamic Countries Forum" to take place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in 2011 and other projects.
The Turkish Cypriot delegation received a briefing from the officials of the bank.
Durust and his delegation also met with the Secretary General of the Arab Tourism Organization and discussed opportunities for cooperation in the TRNC.
The Turkish Cypriot delegation visited the Executive Director of the Islamic Solidarity Fund and discussed using the Fund's financial resources and possible projects in the future.
