BANKING - Feyzullah Eğriboyun named new vice president at Bank Asya


Feyzullah Eğriboyun has been appointed the new executive vice president responsible for treasury, financial institutions and investor relations at Bank Asya, the bank announced on Tuesday.

An electrical-electronics engineering and mathematics graduate from İstanbul's Boğaziçi University, Eğriboyun acquired a master's degree in applied mathematics and a Ph.D. in mathematical finance from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. (source)
He has worked with investment banks such as Credit Suisse First Boston, BNP Paribas and UBS in New York City as a financial engineer, strategist and trader in fixed-income securities. Later he went on to work as a structural products trader for Deutsche Bank in London and İstanbul. After lecturing in finance at Sabancı University in 2009, he moved back to London to work in the treasury department of BNP Paribas. He has now joined Bank Asya as the new executive vice president for treasury, financial institutions and investor relations.
