responsibility.
The project, called “I'm schooling a
child,” was promoted at a press conference at the bank's headquarters
in İstanbul on Tuesday. Students from primary to university level will
be paid a monthly stipend of between TL 100 and TL 250 in the first year

The Kimse Yok Mu (Is Anybody There) charitable organization will
assist Bank Asya in the administration of financial aid to students in
need. The bank is supported in its efforts by financial contributions
from nearly 5,000 of its employees, and the project will also be open to
outside contributions. “We expect the number of students we will
support to increase with contributions from outside [the bank],” Bank
Asya General Manager Abdullah Çelik said.
