TOBB to train chambers of commerce from Islam countries
The Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency will support the program.

The Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) will host a training program for chambers of commerce and industry from the Islam countries. (source)


The training program "TOBB-IDB/ITFC-ICCI Chamber Academy" will take place in Ankara from June 20 to 24 as part of a cooperation protocol signed between TOBB and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in 2009. The Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and the Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency (TIKA) will support the program.
Executives from chambers of commerce and industry from Islam countries such as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran; Jordan Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, Mauritania, Uganda, Albania, Uzbekistan, Ghana and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will join the program aiming at contributing efforts to develop a service capacity among chambers.
TOBB Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu, ICCI President Sheikh Saleh Kamel and high-level officials from IDB and TIKA will be in attendance at the opening session.
