BANKING - Bank Asya to Refinance $250 Million Loan in Aprill - Provides $120 Million loan to Dedeli Elektrik

Asya Katilim Bankasi AS, an Istanbul-based Islamic bank, will refinance a $250 million syndicated loan in April, Dunya reported, citing chief executive Cemil Ozdemir. (source)


The lender known as Bank Asya, plans to open 20 branches this year to increase the total number to 200, Ozdemir said, according to the Istanbul-based newspaper. Bank Asya provided a 120 million-euros, four-year loan to Dedeli Elektrik which is building two gas-fired power stations with total 286-megawatts capacity in Bilecik and Afyon in western Turkey, Dunya quoted Ozdemir as saying.
